This blog has gone through a lot—redesigns, criticisms, support, praise, etc.—in the past three years of its existence. And for that, I thank you all for continuing to read and support it:

Thank you!

Yeah, this is another Thank You Day Philippines pimp. I’m pimping my work. Haha. Seriously though, this is one pimp where you can actually win prizes.

I’m actually about to get tired hearing about the Thank You Day Philippines concert this coming October 20. If you’ve been looking and hearing those words for almost a month already, you’ll get tired too. But then, that’s just me complaining about not being able to get my regular monthly movie fix.

Anyway… Yes, there will be a concert. Salindiwa, Reggae Mistress, Mozzie, The Dawn, and Cynthia Alexander will be there. And you can actually win two (2) FREE tickets for yourself and someone, not to mention getting a chance to win one of the five (5) special gifts from Toblerone (don’t mind me, I’m a chocolate fan). Here’s how:

  • Come up with a creative way of saying “thank you.” You don’t need to be a grammar Nazi to make one, we’re just looking for one-liners. Take note, ONE-liner. Not two, not three. Just one. If you don’t know what “one” means, go and ask your pre-school teacher.
  • Leave the one-liner as a comment on this post or anywhere on Marc’s blog. You can also email it to me (gaildelacruz[at]gmail[dot]com) if you’re shy.
  • Each original entry will get two FREE tickets to the October 20 concert. Take note though, your thinking caps must think fast… Only the first 150 entries will get the ticket, and that 150 is the accumulated number from all the other blogs where you can post your entry to.
  • What else? Be creative! That’s not too hard to do, is it? Anyway, the five most creative entries will get the Toblerone prize. I don’t know what it is at the moment, but you can get the updates from the Thank You Day Philippines site (another pimp! Haha).

So there. Get those Thank You’s coming!

P.S.
Send a Thank You card using the Thank You Machine while you’re at it. There will be more designs coming soon this week, I just got to rest my hand (drawing is tiring, you know).
