We didn’t encounter much turbulence on our flight, so I was lucky to be able to get some shots of this beautiful island from above (good think too, because turbulence freaks Marc out hehe). I didn’t notice much about our landing… I had my face stuck on the window watching the beautiful scenery growing bigger and bigger as we neared the ground (it was amusing to watch the cows near the airstrip grow bigger).

Cows should have been in this photo… I was too amused I forgot to click until they were out of my lens’ frame :P
SEAIR delivered their promise of a short flight to Busuanga via the Dornier 328. We actually arrived there around 35 minutes after take-off.

Our plane parked at the airstrip :)

Busuanga Airport
Even at the Francisco Reyes Airport (Busuanga Island, Coron, Palawan), I already felt I was in another time in Philippine history, a time when towering buildings and heavy traffic were unheard of. The travel time from the airport to the Crystal Lodge—the seaside inn we stayed in—was about an hour, but you really wouldn’t notice it with all the beautiful scenes that will greet you.

Urban scenery :)

You can stick your arm and camera out the jeepney to take photos like this and still have your body intact… Try that in Manila and see how you’ll lose your precious camera with your arm to a speeding car beside you
Crystal Lodge is perfect for adventurous backpackers, but not advisable for picky travelers. The accommodation is far from a hotel’s, but it was clean and the staff is friendly.

@Sofia: We stayed at Crystal Lodge, it’s not a hotel though. But it’s clean. Php1,500 per room/day which 3 people can share, and another that’s Php600 (can’t remember for sure, basta it’s less than 1k) for a room that two can share.
Sorry, I dunno how much the travel fare :( We were sponsored by SEAIR kasi when we went there. You can check out their rates though: flyseair.com SEAIR’s one of the few that has flights direct to Busuanga
