We just officially launched the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards!
So, you think you got what it takes to be considered one of the Philippines’ finest bloggers? Well, here’s your chance! 😀
I’m pretty sure you guys have been working hard on your blogs since the first Awards, and I have a feeling it’s going to be quite difficult for our judges to choose. Anyway, we’ll be announcing when the nominations will start on the Blog Awards site so make sure to keep coming back for the official announcement. Or better yet, just subscribe to our feed.
And yes, you can expect a LOT of new things this year. 😀
Again, we’re calling for volunteers. You’d be helping out in organizing the Blog Awards Night, so you’re still eligible for the Awards. To protect the integrity of the Awards, me and my fellow organizers agreed that all of our blogs are automatically disqualified—just like we did last year. Hmm… After all the hoola-ba-loo of the Awards Night last year, are we to expect more volunteers? Hehehe 😉
Anyway, if you’re interested to sponsor (or know somebody or a company who does), drop us a line so we could send you more info.
We’re also looking for photos we can use for the site. As you will see in the new design, there’s a header photo that changes upon refresh. Many thanks to Karla Redor for lending us her photos! Aside from the rotating header, we’d also like to use the photos for the Photo Gallery. If you’re interested, you can send me photos of the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards Night through kutitots(at)gmail(dot)com.
Oh, and by the way, if you’re a graphic whiz, feel free to create a badge with our logo 😀 Just send me a copy in JPEG or GIF format and we’d be more than happy to put it up on the Blog Awards site for other bloggers to download.
Help us spread the word about the upcoming 2008 Philippine Blog Awards!!! 🙂
[…] off, I’d like to apologize to those who have emailed me about wanting to volunteer for the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards Night. Marc and I joined a few travel and photo bloggers last weekend (January 11 to 13) on a […]
