I’m probably one of the latest to blog this (Rico even forgot me, wah!!! Hehe), but I’m still not the latest. That honor is reserved for Markku 🙂
Anyhoo, with all the excitement of my now-publicized sex life (not! Haha) and the recent announcement of the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards, I almost forgot that I went to see hot-air balloons for the first time in my life last Saturday with some of my blogger friends. My dad thought I was not yet worthy to carry his precious Nikon digital cameras, so I was stuck with my lowly semi-pro Olympus.
Take a look at my shots! But if you want to use my photos, don’t forget to credit me and link back to Kutitots.Com!
Pretty cool way to sing the national anthem!
This Festo balloon was such an attention-seeker!
Before take-off…
My favorite kitty balloon!
My other favorite: the Rainbow Brite balloon!
Starting to take off!
Bam! The kitty gets smothered 🙂
… And off they go!
See? It’s not always about the camera! Hehe. Someday… One day… I’ll get to bring one of my dad’s Nikons and expensive lenses in an event like this, and they’ll be the ones turning green with envy! Your Canons can eat my soon-to-be-mine-to-borrow Nikon’s dust! MWAHAHAHA!
The itinerary Anton planned for the day included going to Subic after lunch. But by the time we finished eating, our group seemed to be too sleepy to do anything else (sorry, Anton!). I don’t think any of us had decent sleep yet (that is, if you don’t count Rico’s power nap in the car hehe).
Oh, and yeah. Marc got to drive Abe’s Adsense car on the way back:
The traffic was terrible on the North Luzon Expressway. Can you believe there were two car accidents in NLEX??? It didn’t occur to me to take a picture of the first one, but the second one, I did:
I’m actually working on a mini Kutitots gallery at the moment. So you can expect more photos coming soon! For now, just read more about the 11th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Clark Field, Pampanga: Abe, Rico, Jayvee, Joey
Sasha, Marc, and Markku are now the only ones left who haven’t blogged about it yet. I’m betting Markku will be the last to blog 🙂 Marc said he’ll blog about it later (yeah, right, that’s what he said two days ago), and Sasha’s camera is brand-new so there’s a huge chance she’ll blog soon. Markku said he needed to live up to his readers’ expectations (expectations that he blogs late hehe), so I’m pretty sure he’d be the last. Don’t fail me, Markku! LOL
Oh, and yeah. I hope you’re not getting tired of my Christmas decors yet. Hehe. Don’t worry, I already got a new theme cooking! It’s going to be really, really soon. Promise!
Nice shots! 🙂 Mabuhay ang semi-pro Olympus and the photographer 🙂
Yon! Someone did take a shot of that messy accident on NLEX! 😀
@Juned: Thanks Juned! Unfortunately, they still don’t merit me even hour using my dad’s professional cameras 🙁
@Rico: Hahaha The first one was much more of a wreck, but I was too much in awe to even think of taking a picture of it! The second one, I was prepared 😀
Wow! You went to hot air balloon at Clarkfield too. I work somewhere there (in Clarkfield) so I probably see all those preparations they made. It’s an annual even everyone is very prod of and anticipating for. 🙂
Gail, I like your very last balloon photo. =) Next year ulit, plan tayo way ahead para mas masaya activities.
waw, may nakita akong saging sa highway pic.. hi gail!
@Euri: Yup! We sure did. Maybe next year we’ll see you there?
@Markku: thanks thanks 😀 oo tama, tapos tuloy swimming sa Subic after! hehe
@Joey: eto talaga o! ahahaha tama bang “saging” ang pansinin? Hmmm… 🙂 JK!
