The weirdest thing happened to me early this morning. I woke up at 4am, but snoozed on again while waiting for Marc. I remember getting up and going to the bathroom, as well as texting Marc to send me a message when he’s outside the gate already so the dogs won’t start barking and waking up the entire street. I also remember snoozing off for about an hour after that, and waking up at the sound of Marc’s text message around 10 minutes after 5. But I really don’t remember texting Marc at 5:03am.
And yet I did. I checked my Sent messages folder, and there it was: the incoherent text message. It didn’t make any sense, and had a lot of garbled words. Marc was telling me to try and remember why I sent it, but I really couldn’t. Weird huh? And even weirder is that when I sat down and tried to remember my dream before I woke up, texting Marc WAS in my dream. I just couldn’t recall WHY I texted him in the dream. Well, since it’s really hard to make sense of dreams, it didn’t bother me much. It was the fact I was “sleep-texting” that freaked me out.
I’ve heard of sleepwalking. I never met anybody who does that but I’ve read about it. I’ve also experienced overhearing somebody sleep-talk (Marc and my grandma). I even admit that I try to reply to text messages while half-asleep. My messages are garbled, but I am aware that I was texting somebody. This is the very first instance that I really couldn’t remember even holding my phone and using it to send a text message.
Have you guys heard of a similar instance? You know, doing something during sleep and remembering nothing of what happened? This really spooked me out, to tell you the truth. It’s WEIRD. I never really thought I’d do something like that 
I woke up with my phone under my arm pit one morning. Found in my inbox a cute text from my boyfriend, at 3am. In my sent items I found my reply…”Wawr /o”…
Now, I would have had to unlock the phone, open his message, select reply, type my garble, select send, exit the message creater, and lock the phone again. All this done in my sleep. Oh and apparently Wawr means dawn or something in welsh.
Omg!That’s so funny!Last night i txt my friend while sleeping “im at at ur hddutse.sleepin.” lol. i had no idea i did that till this morning, i woke up with unread msg in my inbox from her saying”whaat?”‘ then i looked in my outbox and i found my txt to her that i send at 11pm last night,i was laughing so hard.i dunno how and why i txt her,i can’t remember.but it freaked me out.and i never sleep at her house.when i was a kid i used to sleep talk and sleep walk…thanks to google and i found how many ppl sleeptexting.LOL~!!!!
i actually did this recently and sent it a friend’s mother and now she is uber pissed at me because it was a very sexual texts. lol, i’ve done it like ten times before to other people and made them upset too. i need to keep my phone away.
I had sent a sleep text just this morning. I was having a dream that a lady had put out her cigarette on my knee and i jumped up and pulled out my phone and texted my girl friend ‘she put her cigarette out on my knee’ and sent it and i woke up and i had a safety pin sticking out of my knee and my phone was in my hand. Later in the day my girlfriend says ‘you know you texted me at like 5 in the morning’ and she showed me the text. It said ‘s put her ducking cigarette out no my knee’.
I think I sleep-texted last night! It’s a bit freaky..
I had been msging a good friend last night.. but then went to sleep at around 10:45.
I woke up this morning to find a message from her saying “what? lol.. it what? none of that made sense..”
I then checked my sent items.. and found that i sent her a message at 11:30, saying “soggy dog the late reply. it called.”
I was asleep by this time, and have no memory whatsoever of sending this message, and don’t know what it means.

my first sleeptext message is a reply to “,dLi..Hehe tnx xA nf0.,” which is “Ur welcme.”(quite accurate *possibly i sleepread before i sleeptexted!!!*)
what concerns me now is the ability to sleeptext right, without that much garbled messages.(or a accurate reply to a message)
this can become a habit. just preparin’

I haven’t texted while sleeping yet, but this morning after having a dream I don’t really remember…as soon as I woke up I grabbed my phone and started keying in a number to send a text to. Its a random number, but I remember going back and putting in my local area code since I knew it wouldn’t send with out it. The text that I typed said “photo lab” (where I work). I didn’t remember I did this until I physically got out of bed and did a few things, then I remembered and thought I was going insane. How weird is that? I’m thinking of calling the random number.
